Built my ark in April 2007. It took me 4 weekends and my girls seem to like being able to get fresh grass and it is a lot easier to maintain them. I will be building two more for my newer chickens and ducks.

i’m proud of the framework that i have built. it looks like real carpentry. once the roofing material is figured out, i think it will come together quickly.
there’s not much workspace in the yard while they’re putting the retaining wall in.
Squirrel Hunter is not feeling it today...

get the chicken to sit behind the wheel long enough! And here I spent all this time building the damn thing!!

Yes i would like to have a pet chicken, but i live in the city, so she would most likely have to live in a chicken tractor. I’ve already gotten a place set out for it, the only thing I need to do now is build it, which, for me, might be a bit of a challenge.
