cincibohemian94 Typing this one a big crazy computer in TimeWarner store! I am cool :)
How I did it: You know what was an enormous help? WiiFit. I know, I'd looked up a couple yoga poses in some books and I'd done them, but the resource where I got most of the poses I do now is, of all places, WiiFit. My guess would be it's because it works so much like a video and you can replay the demo as many times as you need to. Not to mention the fact the grade you motivates you to do even better! :) Read how I did it…

How I did it: It didn't take long to prepare.I just looked at my gym timetable to see what yoga class I could easily commit to and got myself together with gym clothes that I normally wear to step classes together with my gym bag, towel and off I went.I made sure I was there a few minutes early so I could relax a bit before the class and to feel where best to sit in the studio room. I also made sure I took a water bottle with me. Read how I did it…
destroyingempathy is working...hardly.
I bought a pair of yoga pants yesterday because they are extremely comfortable. I’ve never done yoga (knowingly) but I started doing standard poses in my yoga pants last night and thought it felt pretty good. I’ve also been meaning to start meditating again, so that would help me achieve that as well I’m sure!

Managed to start again this past saturday. It felt great to focus on spirituality…we did downward dog pose as well as alternate nostril breathing which helped immensely to distress.
Hope to continue…will try at least the one class a week to start with even though I wanted to go more often.
It’s been a good few years since I even looked at a downwards facing dog, so I am really looking forward to getting into it again – and more seriously this time.
Once a week class, and at least twice a week at home…...we’ll see how that goes :-)

Haven’t been to yoga since a week ago now. Just trying to get organized and to go to gym a bit for fitness and to release some pressures and stress although I know yoga does this.
I just looked at yoga teacher training courses here in Brisbane/Sunshine Coast but am not sure if I want to do the teacher training as a priority just now in my life.
Just to commit to atleast one yoga class per week for now.

Trying to commit to atleast 1 class a week. Couldn’t go today because I had my dog with me so I didn’t want to leave him in the car. Will try again this week.

I have just challenged myself to start yoga by the 12th of March…..or else ‘I will faint’ – consequence. hehe
This is fun.

I like this sort of look with the yoga tie around top and head band…

Would like to feel prepared by wearing comfortable yoga clothing when starting.

My gym membership runs out 4th March but I am considering keeping it until I decide definately what I am doing.
They have yoga twice a week which is incorporated into the membership fee. Other yoga studios I have looked at are Daily Yoga at Newfarm.
Monthly membership is about $120 which is a bit much for me at the moment so gym is the better option for now.
Goal to start ONE class this or next week. Hopefully tomorrow night -thursday.
