I moved back to Trieste, to my parent’s House.
I had something like 8 or 9 luggages, and I’m trying to clean up my room in a dignitous way.
It’s not easy, since I have a little room here and a lot of things :D

change the without so the within can flow

I did FlyLady  — 7 months ago

for a while, and I was super happy. But then I started back to work full time and it’s been hard to keep up with it. I need to
1.) not watch TV in the evening
2.) not sit on my butt and watch TV in the evening, and
3.) not turn on the TV at all.

But at least if I do the dishes before turning on the TV, bring a load of laundry to the family room to fold while I’m watching, and get up during the commercials to hit the hot spots, I’ll at least be doing something. So I’ll try that for starters.

Ok, i moved to my own house, with two lovely housemates.
The first 2 weeks everything was ok, now it’s a disaster.
I have to change, i can make it!

this is proving to be pretty difficult...  — 11 months ago

even in our new little house, our lovely little kitten has turned the house into a kitten playground, with toys, balls, playmice, cat scratching posts, empty boxes etc all over for her to play with.:-)))

FLYLady to the rescue!  — 12 months ago

I have been trying the “babysteps” suggested on FlyLady.org for the past couple of months. It was going okay when I was doing it alone, but then we went on a lengthy family vacation and I let things slide for awhile when we got back. I kept reading the encouraging e-mails and I got started again. Since my kids are still out of school, I got them involved, too, and now it is going very well. They are so excited about keeping their rooms clean and today they helped me clean up the kitchen, the TV room, the living room, and the bathrooms, all without complaining AT ALL! (And no, I do not have perfect children, ha ha.) Between the FlyLady and the House Fairy I think we are going to make it a good habit to keep the house clean! Yay!

I took my egg timer around last night and did quick tidies in each room. I’m trying not to get overwhelmed and discouraged. I reorganized the linen closet so that when I do fold the linens I will have a place to put them. I also made some changes to our toiletries making sure the most used items are readily accessible and in clear view.

hello

right this is for the people whom want their weekends free from cleaing and whom get home late.

the second you get into the house go to the messyest room and start and dont stop for 40 minutes!

When you finishing cooking dinner out the dinner in the oven to warm and clean everything you have used!!that way the only thing left after dinner will be the plates! so much easyier never ever leave pots and pans its so depressing making breakfast around dirty pans

also go the the $ or £ shop and by boxes and tidy units buying something to motivate the cleaning works

It sucks but...  — 1 year ago

i have to try and keep on top of the cleaning whilst the house is on the market. I just wish I was a domestic goddess like some, but not one of my assets I’m afraid.
