participate in a cancer walk

I have wanted to get more involved in charity work and have wanted to do the avon breast cancer walk for a few years now. I am pleased to say that I am now registered for the NY walk on Oct 4th & 5th! I am very excited but I know it will not be easy! I have to raise at least $1800, and train so I can physically complete the walk that will consist of 39 miles in 2 days. Wish me luck!! I didn’t walk in this event, as my father passed away from a stroke while it was happening. But I did walk for the Heart & Stroke walk two months later.

I’m registered for the Weekend to End Breast Cancer at the end of July. I’ll be walking 60 km in one weekend. I’m training hard!
