Life doesn’t get much better

I don’t usually bring my camera with me to work but on Thursday last week I did and I happened to look out the window at just before 9:00am and the mountains were just glowing with the sun preparing to come up. I tried shooting with my trusty Nikon in automatic and the camera adjusted the picture into a balanced pallet of light and color which looked nothing like what was going on. I actually had to put on my photographer hat and manually set the camera to shoot this and get an accurate picture of what was really out there.

The Local News ran it on their weather pix that evening too. This was taken earlier this week before the snow came to town. Overlooking the lodge pole pine.

WARNING Taking pictures from a moving vehicle should not be practiced by the average un-caffienated person. And probably shouldn’t be done at all. So … there… um

When this balloon launches it would be a SUN RISE, and when it lands it would be a sunset. I never was one to stay inside the lines. :D
