I basically know what makes me sleep well:
Physically, feeling good, not cold, not hot, not hungry…. Calms Forte homeopathic remedy helps, as do hot milk, massage, a hot bath, meditation cd…... The relaxation techniques I’ve learned in yoga and childbirth prep class really help too. Breeeeeeeeathe, sooooooooooooooften…... ommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm…...
Mentally, a calm mind, especially about my hubby. If we have some kind of problem, it’s harder to relax my mind enough to sleep (especially since he can fall asleep at any time), but when we are getting along fantastically, I definitely sleep better. Saying “I love you” helps a ton, too. And the closer we are physically, the better. :)
