learn to snow ski

ok would love to learn how to do this, don’t have the slighest idea how…well ok I know you start on a bunny hill or sumthin but whatever…i would like to learn soon

My doc has advised against this while trying to get pregnant. Duh. I guess it will get put on hold for now.

Did my research today. Seems like Monarch is a great place to learn. It is just as close as Breckenridge and much cheaper. Also, many people think it is an easier place to learn since its less crowded. Now I just need to wait until we have a day that the roads are clear enough for my husband to take my non-4 wheel drive to work so I can have his 4 wheel drive truck for the day. Then, just do it!

I cannot find anyone to go up with me but since I live only an hour away from great skiing I think I will take lessons by myself. I am going to buy ski pants today.

Does anyone who wants to do this live in Colorado? I am game but I don’t know anyone who would do it with me. Anyone up for a lesson?

I’ve tried this once (kinda) unsuccessfuly. I’ll give it one more shot. It’s too beautiful not to.

before this can happen i must loose about 30lbs and get myself to the gym more.All this is possible and yes worth doing.Let us all encourage and help each other to be our personal best!!

This goal also ties in with my fear of falling, so I’m not so sure. Plus, I hate the cold! But I’ve heard so many people talk about how much fun it is, that you forget the cold, etc. So maybe it’d be worth trying. And feasable, since I’m only two hours from Mankato, Minnesota, a popular midwestern place to ski.
