spend more time with my pets

id have to give up like 3 hours of the day to because i have 2 fish, 1 guinie pig, 2 rats, 1 dog, 3 cats,1 rabbit and some racoons that i feed outside. I rescued all of my animals so i want the best for them.

i get alot of stupid looks from people for being so animal mad and pet crazy, somtimes i like to sit next to my dog in her basket so she doesn’t always have to come to me or get into trouble for being on furniture, i love my dog, she’s the best, somtimes i could cry just looking into her eyes because she’s never judged me, she keeps all my secrets, never tries to steal my boyfriend though she does see him as a means to play fetch, never says i look bad or steals my clothes or make up and always greats me happily… Bracken…she’s awesome and so beautiful. Somtimes she won’t eat because she misses my dad or another family member and she will happily sit under the desk at your feet when your busy even if she does fart to try and get you to move…she’s a right character.

and things have been so busy for a while that I realized that I hadn’t been spending much time with him.

So I started spending a little more time with my pet. How do you spend time with a turtle? You might ask.

Well, I don’t take him for walks. Sometimes I take him outside and I let him look for worms… I have to be in a certain mood for that though.

I like to let him walk around my room. He loves to explore. What he REALLY likes is when I lie on the floor, and let him on my belly. He loves to ride as it goes up and down with each breath. It’s so cute. And while he’s there, he’ll sometimes crawl up onto my chest and look at my noes and mouth really close… like “What’s in there?”

It’s amazing how you can bond with a turtle.

I have 2 dogs and a cat and work full-time I feel so guilty because when I come in I’m so tired and all they want is some fuss and to be played with. I have started making more time for them though, taking them for walks when I get in before sitting down. They love it and even I have started feeling better for it!

I do ok with this, but I could play with them more often, and pet them more.

I love my cat and dog, but I have been so caught up in me lately that I have been neglecting them severely…

I spend long days working, but it’s no excuse. I want to spend more time with my pets. I have two cats and a cocketiel and they are the sweetest pets one could ask for. Smart too. I need to give them as much love as they give to me.
