. . . and there were 5 pieces of Banksy there, along with some other amazing artworks by other grafitti makers :) An amazing day. This is a work in progress, but I’ve now seen Banksy art in London, Manchester and Liverpool, and some of those i did actually set out to find, so i guess that counts as ‘hunting’. So I’m calling this one ‘completed’! :)

. . . how cool is that? :) I’m doing a class on collecting as part of my history course so decided that writing about how/ whether grafitti is collected would be more intersting than usual museum stuff . . .anyway, perfect opportunity to go to London and photograph Banksy stuff for a day :) i’m actually pretty excited, i’ll prob go on Tuesday :D

... and I’ve done it for years.
Wonder how all the assholes who scrubbed his work off their precious walls must feel.

. . . it was 3am and we’d driven all the way from Manchester on the spur of the moment to have a kebab at the docks. anyway, i saw the huge three-storey rat and it was amazing, tried to take a photo and almost made my friend crash her car!

I want to go and take as many photos of Banksy art as possible :) Think i found one in Cambridge the other day, its beautiful, like his balloon girl only with a floating red tv instead . . . anyway, even if its is a fake i nearly had a heart attack when i went past it on the bus! :) i would quite happily travel round the uk looking out for his stuff :)

This was awful…... because Banksy is so well known & his stuff is worth so much some twat put up a perspex covering. I know the art is worth millions £££££££££ but the plastic has spoiled it. Made it sweaty looking…...... like something edible fermenting under cling film.
I prefer my graffiti art bareback.
