I get too inspired at night =\ Also talking/going out with boyfriend late makes me stay up even later.

this week I’ve be waking up around 5:30..that’s 30 min ahead of the time my alarm is schedule to go off. So it’s been goin good so far.. i also think falling asleep by 10:30 has helped. Me getting up early and not getting on the computer in the am allows me to get to work on time and a chance a be super productive! Can I give myself a cheer? A pat on the back will do!

ill child  — 1 month ago

Oh I spent the weekend trying to get up earlier while my son was away (so he didn’t have to deal with snappy, tired mummy) and I was getting better. But then sunday night the little one was ill and kept me up half the night. Needless to say we slept in later the next day and the cycle started again! I got up at 10:30am today – it’s just too late! Luckily his nursery doesn’t start until 12:30pm but this isn’t what I want him to remember of his childhood – me laying in bed half the day. (Of course, he is in bed too so he doesn’t necessarily know). It is just not the way we should be living. So it is 10:30pm now, I’m going to get into bed and read my book and hopefully I will nod off soon. I seem to be in a sort of cycle where I get really tired at about 4pm and then I push through that and by bedtime I’m wide awake again. I don’t know how to get out of this one.

Work in Progress...  — 2 months ago

I’m a snooze button addict that has had a predominately evening schedule for the last decade, but I’m trying hard! I used to sleep till around 2pm after being up till about 6am, but I am slowly training myself to go to bed a little earlier, and get up a little later. Now, I usually am up around 10am, and I’m working on pushing that back even further. If I could just quell that snooze button reflex… ;)

Worth doing!

I’ve been getting up at 5:15am three times a week to go to the gym. As a result I’m getting up early most other days too.

Would be nice to get up before ~10 am to do things for university, exercise…

Since now I have school at morning time four times a week, I manage to get up at 7am, and in non class days, I get up around 8-9:30am.

7:30  — 4 months ago

I was tossing and turning last night, and then couldn’t get out of bed in the morning. I am working on a paper for a deadline and at night I keep thinking about the things I have been reading during the day. At least I was faster this morning, at my desk at 9am, which is not so bad. Now that I filled in all my entries for today, I guess I can get to work. I think 6:30 would be a nice time to get up, maybe in the long run earlier. My bf sets his alarm at 5:40 – and since he insists on pressing the snooze button at least once and then makes a lot of noise until he leaves to go to work (at 6:15), i could just as well get up with him.

Worth doing!

I think…to do this when I want to. I have been getting up pretty early (7 or 8) for a while now, even though I’m not going to school this semester, so I do think that’s early enough for me. Maybe I will one day wish (not likely) to get up before 7 am, but for now that is early enough for me!
