Well, it’s THursday and I’m still gettin up!!! Havent given in to sleeping late yet!!! its getting easier and easier … im waking up before the alarm now… waking up, not gettin up lol… and the getting out of bed part is still hard, but not as impossible :D I made an omlet this morning it was fantastic ..

Success! 6 am, coffee, jog, yoga, walking class….annnndd toast egg turkey and cheese breakfast complete with GILMORE GIRLS! Woohoo!

Day 2- Oct 30 1 week ago

Well day two went nicely! Got up at six, watched saved by the bell with some coffee, jogged a mile, and did yoga in our fitness center here at the apartment… it was very nice! I did decide to switch up Saturdays and Sundays a bit… Since Charles and I work at a pub on Thursdays-Saturdays, getting up at six gets difficult… Friday isn’t so bad, but by Saturday and Sunday, three-four hours of sleep just exhausts me… I’m not sure how to do it yet, cuz I don’t want to get out of whack for Monday! Anyways…. I did however automatically wake up at 6:15 this morning!! without the alarm!! Hooray! (I just didn’t get up cuz I had gotten home three hours before that!)

Well, this is my day one of getting up early… i read a few articles last night about “getting up when the alarm goes off” and I succeeded today!! Hooray! I’m also going to try to work on my “walking daily” and “eat breakfast every day” goal, since I’m up two hours earlier than usual!

Since I’ve been working more I’ve been doing quite good with getting up earlier, even on the weekends.

im unemployed and during the week ive been getting up at 7.00/7.30 which i think is just right now, im used to early mornings again as when i first became unemployed i was getting up at 10 or 11! once i get a new job i know i will be up early enough to go to work as i want to work. weekends im still lieing in a bit, recently been getting up at 9 or 10 in morn which isnt to bad for a sunday, saturday i norm get up at 8.30

It’s proving a challenge to get up at 4:00 on weekends, so I don’t manage to go more than 5 days in a row before having a horrible relapse, so I’m going to try 5:00 and see if that’s more doable. I got up at 5:00 today, and I felt good and immediately settled down to work, so I’m feeling hopeful again.

I’m at Day 1 again because I didn’t get much sleep over the weekend due to have a paper due, so then I slept a lot. Yesterday I got about 11 hours. I’m ready to try again.

When I woke up today, my kitties were lying on the bed staring at me. I have been neglecting them because I have been working long hours on a paper. So I cuddled with them until 5 a.m. instead of jumping out of bed. I don’t feel a bit bad about it, and I don’t have to restart my day count. (And I don’t feel groggy either, like I would if I had gone back to sleep and woken up around 7 or so. I feel fine!)

I don’t anticipate any problems with this one, so from now on I’ll just write an entry if I encounter a problem or when I reach my goal.
