get a vespa

I saw Quadrophenia when I was about 13 and I’ve wanted a vintage Vespa ever since. It shall be mine!!

I really really really wanted a Vespa but they were so expensive and I wanted a scooter so bad I opted for something half the price – a Yamaha Vino 49cc scooter. I totally love it though and think it was a good stepping stone into the scooter world. I figure its like any first car you get when you first learn to drive – never get something brand new or super expensive cause you will hit something.

My only problem is feeling confident driving it around town. Its much scarier than driving a car!

my car recently got totaled from someone backing into it. As much as a it seems like I need a car, I can share my husband’s car with him. I want to try this Vespa thing out. I mean affordable, and 65 miles to the gallon how can I say no?
