play with my kids more

Last night after we got through homework and dinner, I played Phase 10 with my 6 year old. He was so happy to have special mommy time and I was glad to have somebody to play cards with. I think I’ll establish a game night with the boys. It’s for them, but it’s for me too. I like playing games and never make time to do it.

there is so much to do and so little time but i need to spend more time playing with the kids and stop saying later when they ask because i know one day they will stop asking and i will miss out and so will they. am i a bad mother?

I’d be ashamed of myself if I took the time to add up all my useless computer time… time that could be spent playing with the kids.

It’s important to remember to spend time with the little ones. Soon enough they will be busy with their friends and I’ll be wishing that I would’ve done more.

Again, a work in progress, but something I’ll continue to strive to do every single day!

I had great fun playing with the kids today.

We did lots of arts and crafts, playing, tidying up and the t.v. didn’t come on once!

52 entries of playing with my kids. I’m a little afraid that if I take this off my list then I won’t play with them anymore…...I’m taking a leap and hope that that won’t be the case.

We played last night after all of our company was gone. Ordered pizza and played as a family in front of the fireplace. VERY fun.

No preschool today due to contracting a virus…poor thing.
My eldest child went to school and I spent the morning with “little one” reading, colouring, painting, doing play dough crafts, etc.

We both had lots of fun together!

Made the dough a few days ago but the kids were not being behaved one day and the next we ran out of time so today, I pulled the dough out of the fridge where it was cooling and we did the cutouts and baked them.
Decorating will occur tomorrow.

Problem is that I got the brainiac idea to try a different recipe than I use every year. This year I decided to try a low fat recipe—let’s just say that they’re not the same.

I’m considering starting over again…
