learn more about computers

I did it! I was trying to clean the junk off my computer so it would run better and faster so I started searching file names and programs online to find out what they were and if they were necessary and if not they got deleted! This was time-consuming but it was a boring weekend anyway and well worth my time and effort! Also I had an update that I could not get installed so I went to the Microsoft website and solved that problem too! They have a great, helpful website by the way! Now everything is up to date, and I’m reaping the fruits of my labor because my computer is running great! I’m proud of myself because I don’t know that much about computers and with some time and research, I was able to do this without too many complications and without using any of those untrusted online programs! 6 months ago

My computer is sooo slow and I know it needs to be “cleaned out” and I have no idea where to start. I don’t even know HOW to learn more about computers!? I guess I’ll try the good ol’ internet but for some reason I just can’t make sense out of the stuff I’ve read on there so far. Maybe I could try a book from the library? I don’t trust the products on the internet cuz I’ve heard some of them actually add to the problems and they install spyware on your computer! No thanks! 7 months ago
