Just don’t think that I am going to get that lazy 10am sleep in. Last weekend I was absolutely stoked because I didn’t wake up until 6.30am. I think I am just going to accept that I will wake up at whatever time my body is ready.

This is just not working…...I used to wake up at 5.30 which was OK though early by most people’s standards. When I set this goal I had started getting up (not just waking up) at 5am. That I can cope with through the week when I have to go to work (I leave home around 7) as I have plenty of time to wake up and get myself sorted out….the problem with waking up early through the week is that you tend to automatically do the same on weekends. Over the past three weeks my daily rise time has shifted again….it’s now 4.30 am…....Great! That makes for a great sleep in on a Saturday. It’s only a couple of years ago that staying in bed till 10am on a Sunday was not an unusual occurrence (by no means every week), now I look at the clock on a Sunday morning and think ‘Oh gosh, the weekend is almost over’. Need to get out of the habit….think I am going to try and force myself to sleep in tomorrow…....maybe even as late as 6!

well I got to 6.30 today…...was quite shocked to see that it was so late. I am so used to being up at 5 that I felt like I wasn’t going to have enough time to do the things that I normally do in a morning. I am thinking that 7 to 7.30 would be a good weekend time.
