I’m a busy full time college student and it’s hard to have healthy eating habits. It’s also hard to have a exercise routine. I’m getting out of shape and I hate it! I want to be able to eat healthy and exercise more. If anyone has any ideas to make it a little easier please let me know!

To make this a habit you actually have to learn to enjoy/love it otherwise it will never stick, it will be a struggle.

Well, soccer season helped me get in shape, and becoming a vegetarian helped me eat healthier.

Getting in shape is gonna be a long trip,but drinking extra water(that goes with my voice-goal) and eating more veggies and fruits is too easy.
We’ll see how this goes.

I should re-enter this to reflect something more easily attainable, like exercise 2 times per week for 20 minutes, or eat 2 fruits and 3 vegetables each day. I’ll have to re-evaluate this, or I can just come up with a plan for this entry. Let’s see….perhaps this week, I will concentrate on eating a healthy breakfast all week, and drink 1 extra, 8 oz. glass of water per day.

I’ve been paying for a gym membership which I haven’t used since last summer. =\ I think it’s time to put it to use. Also, I may be starting a more physically demanding job soon, so that should help too. It will also mean that I’m escaping the vending machine at my current job!

I actually really like healthier foods, but it’s just so easy to fall into the junk/processed food trap. =\

In a few months I’ll be 30 – it’s time to stop neglecting my body!

I’ve been playing Dance Dance Revolution to keep in shape (I have the Xbox version). I know it’s pretty nerdy or whatever, but it helps you burn calories. It keeps track of how many you burn too. Today I’ve burned 285 so far. My legs are getting tired.

I’d like to get an elliptical trainer or something to run on, that’d be sweet. But they’re way expensive, well, atleast for the good ones.

For the eating healthier part, I’ve been drinking only water lately, no soda. That’s not really eating though. I need to eat healthier not just drink healthier.

Well, sometimes I’ll eat carrot sticks and ranch dressing, that’s sorta healthy.

iam VEGAN and wiegh 288!!!!!!! and iam 61…......need to help my heart and back….......get rid of some baggage.

I’m not gonna lie, it is a challenge to stay fit. I got out of it for awhile, you just gotta kick yourself in the butt and say “I will stay healthy”. A good set of adjustable dumbells help out. You can work out the individual muscles that way. A good 30 minute workout 3 times a week is all you need. My biggest thing is eating, I don’t eat nearly enough. Maybe 2-3 decent meals. I want to start eating 5 small meals a day. Just gotta find the time and stuff to eat.
