Nevermind. I’m taking my 31 and applying this cycle! I’m considering this goal accomplished unless I don’t get in and then I’ll add it back on next year.
I told myself I’d be happy with 33+ and I’d retake if I got below a 30. I got a 31 so I’m in no man’s land! Ugg. I’m retaking it in August. 31 is ok, but I feel like there is a better score in me somewhere. Tomorrow the studying begins…..again.
Even though i did not do well as i hope, I loved the experience but i am not going through that again!!! I have decided to go to an international medical school. I want to be a doctor so it does not matter where i go to medical school as long as i get to practice medicine. And to tell the truth i am still disappointed!!! Good luck to you all who are preparing for for it!!!!
I think mentioning my three combat tours in Iraq in my essay should get me in…apparently grades aren’t all that important.
What do you think guys is the best studying strategy for the MCAT?(concerning study time planning etc..)
Wow, i was really hoping to make a 40, like that would be my dream! I just finished a Kaplan online practice exam and it scored me at a 43!!!! I just can’t believe it. When i took the SAT I never prepped and made a 1490, I thought i was hot stuff until my neighbor at Governors Honors Program told me how he made a 1600. So I swore to overprepare the next time one of the standardized blessings comes along. Now that I’m this close I have to just keep on studying… gotta get that 45… Eat that Spencer!
Be all you can be baby!
Don’t even bother. I got a 41 on the bugger, and got rejected everywhere (4.0 average with lots of extracurriculars). It has made me bitter. It doesn’t really seem to matter. My friend who got a 21 got in ahead of me. Whatever
I’m taking the MCAT in June, and my Kaplan courses start in February. I told myself that this winter break I’d start studying, but so far I’ve been unsuccessful in motivating myself to do so. :P Here’s hoping I step up my game!
I got a 31, I’m satisfied :)
I prayed, God heard me, I didn’t have time to study but I was taking biochem II, physics, and cell bio while being and orgo chem lab TA so… yeah, by studying for class (or knowing the material I was teaching) I basically studied for the MCATs lol
