How I did it: I was scared something silly when I went for my road test. However, when I sat behind the wheel and started, it all went away. I suggest learning from someone who is critical & tough so that you'll be used to the situation. It helped me ignore the tester next to me. Read how I did it…

How I did it: I love to drive...I drive cars every day...I have driven everything from street cars, drag cars, to road race cars. I can't get enough...all this has given me the patience to drive slowly and not kill anyone in everyday traffic :) Read how I did it…
How I did it: I never had anything to practice on or anyone to teach me. So now at 22, I came back home from a hiatus at school and my dad bought me a Honda Civic to drive. I cannot even believe that I can go places now but Ican and it is the awesomeness!!! Still haven't quite mastered the highway yet... Read how I did it…
How I did it: I took classes during the summer. It was scary at first, but eventually, you just learn. And the examiner was really nice! He was pretty encouraging, and definitely not mean. Read how I did it…

How I did it: Honestly, the thought of driving scares me still but I did learn. I enrolled in a good driving school and attend every class and practice on weekends. I did learn how to drive but learning doesn't stop there. Now I wishI have my own car so I can really practice more! Read how I did it…

and a half and I still don’t know how to drive! I just got my permit yesterday so I hope to fulfill this goal within the next three weeks :)
A fish with many fins is going to find herself again
A little more practice, I will get it.
Points to remember always:
- Match the gear with the speed. Always have presence of mind. Yesterday I forgot to switch the gear to first when I was about to take a right turn. And I was in 3rd gear!.
- Always slow down at humps. Use neutral gear and use momentum to move you further.
- Don’t come near the vehicle when going down.
- Don’t make late/wide turns.
- Always slow down at intersections.
- Driving at an incline needs the boost from the balance of the engaged clutch and gas.

I really cannot wait until I can drive.
I haven’t had anyone to teach me which is why I’m much older than a lot of people wanting to do this. I am currently 21, and not being able to drive has ruined a lot of chances for me. I’m tired of depending on others to go places, so this is definitely one thing that I am going to work on ASAP.

After 6 months!
I’ve been so busy and wasn’t able to practice. But during the practical exam, I still passed it.
Now, I can’t wait to see the actual license… tomorrow. :-)
Hmm… when can I practice again? Sure, this is a good motivation.
I’m a 32 year old female and I’ve never had my drivers license. I have two children and one of them is Autistic. I have been behind the wheel about 9 0r 10 times and each time I’m so unsure of myself. I’m never behind the wheel for long and I’ve never ever been on the freeway. I’m so tired of aleays asking people to take me where I need to go. It’s so frustrating> I don’t know why I feel like I won’t be able to pay attention to everything there is to pay attention to. Everybodies driving so fast and you have to respond so quick to every situation, it makes me feel like having a panic attack just talking about it. Where does this come from and why me. I’ve even bought cars for other people to get me around. I keep getting my permit but just can’t take that drivers test cause I feel like I might do something crazy and just let go of the wheel or stop in the middle of the street. And I surely can’t imagine going 65-70 miles on a freeway. What am I to do know one understands? And I feel crazy.
i want to go to places. i love traveling. so i guess if i know how to drive, it would be much easier for me to travel to places i dreamed of going to.
awinterstale16 is new layout what? o.O
This bites. I took drivers ed.
My mom did the parent class.
I did 6 driving lessons out of the 8. They said to save the last 2 until right before I go for my license.
I only have about 15 of my 40 hours done.
I reallyreallyreally want my license before I turn 18. =[
I don’t think it’s going to happen.
I have to learn how to drive. Why? Because it is unfair to expect my husband to take time off from work so that I can get to where I need to go. The bus system is small and unreliable in this town, and my own career could suffer by my not learning how to drive. Also, what if there is an emergency and I need to take my son to the hospital? Another reason to learn how to drive is that I would be more independent and could visit friends or do other fun things whenever I want to. It would improve my marriage by taking pressure off of my husband, who currently always has to be the mode of transportation. I have two driving lessons left before I take my driving test. Before I take my driving test, I need to study the Florida Driver’s handbook. I also need to get better at handling my husband’s truck. I also need a new pair of glasses so that I can legally drive. I want to have my driver’s license by the end of July. In the meantime, I need to do one thing each day to become a driver. Today, I will find out how to get new glasses through the insurance company.
I have driven three times this past week. I think I am making more progress in this week than I have in years. Hopefully I’ll get this down by the end of May. ._.
I need to embark on el road. I’ve been playing around in parking lots for too long. Ughh.
