And unfortunately our existing phone provider has NOT been the smoothest vendor out there. They qualified the wrong phone line, and the line that’s supposed to be DSL-qualified is just DEAD.
I am more and more understanding why people decide to just jump off the upgrade train. When I called the DSL folks this morning, they couldn’t tell me why the line wasn’t working, told me I needed to call the local repair line…and they didn’t have the number.
I’m going to see if I can’t use this as a lesson in patience, and learning about how to provide better service.
