Alright, I got the books. I’m doing the C# route. I do this stuff every day so it can’t be too hard, right? :)

Exam 70–300: Analyzing Requirements and Defining Microsoft .NET Solution Architectures
Exam 70–315: Developing and Implementing Web Applications with Microsoft Visual C# .NET and Microsoft Visual Studio .NET
Exam 70–316: Developing and Implementing Windows-based Applications with Microsoft Visual C# .NET and Microsoft Visual Studio .NET
Exam 70–320: Developing XML Web Services and Server Components with Microsoft Visual C# and the Microsoft .NET Framework
Exam 70–340: Implementing Security for Applications with Microsoft Visual C# .NET

Well, won’t be coding in C# anytime too soon so no point :(

I had been wanting to do this for a long time and when I finally got on board with a company that supported this goal, I decided to jump on it.

It’s definitely one of the more difficult things I’ve done, but also one of the most rewarding. I earned a bonus w/ my current company. I also earned some nice job security… if your employer is a Microsoft Certified Partner, they earn points for the number of MCPs they have on staff.

Overall, I’m glad I did it. It was definintely a challenge, but I was able to get it completely done in six months. For those of you getting ready to start this challenge, I absolutely reccomend the Exam Cram 2 series.

I entered the Java world and don’t need the MCSD at the moment. I’ll retake this goal if I need it.

I got my MCSD back in 2002 but it covered old school visual basic(6.0) and sql server 7 type tests that got me there. I wanna get updated to the latest .NET tests.

As soon as I got the title, I got a job offer
