to the store and I found the lady. I said “excuse me I don’t know if you remember be but you helped me find a rice cooker off of a registry a few months ago. Well I went home and wrote an email to your boss saying what great customer service you gave me. I was wondering if anything came of it.” She said “I do remember you. They did tell me I had an email about me. I was so busy that week that I forgot to go up and read it. But thanks for the email. I will for sure read it, I’m pretty sure they put it in my file.” Unfortunately nothing really came of it. But I still felt good, and the employee did remember me. 7 months ago

How I did it: I started by writing a letter to the employee's manager. There was an email address on the bottom of the receipt telling me to write an email if I had any comments. I wrote a glowing letter saying that I had received excellent customer service from one employee in particular. Then I looked up the head office, and I wrote one to them too. customer service today at the Bay. I wrote an email to the manager praising the employee. This is the first time I’d ever done something like that before. I would like to write a letter, or an email to the person above the manager. Sometimes managers are assholes, and they wont do anything about it. I would really like to get this employee some credit. I just don’t know who else I would talk to. 13 months ago
