I just had a baby about 9 months ago, and my weight keeps fluctuating a lot and i would like to loose the weight I gained during my pregnancy, and be able to stay at that weight!

10 down, 10-20 to go 20 months ago

So over this past weekend my weight consistently stayed at 205. So Id’ say that I lost 10lbs since January. Okay, 10lbs in 14 weeks really isn’t a lot, but it’s been mostly due to diet changes that I needed to make anyway. If I actually start jogging again now that the weather has changed, I imagine my goal will be achieved even faster…

I’ve slowly gained about 20 lbs since high school – and even then I had wanted to be thinner! I once lost weight in college by eating a salad before the main dish of every meal and eating a healthy complete breakfast everyday. This is much harder when I’m working full-time now, but I’m going to try to improve my diet, which is most of the problem. I don’t drink soda, but my daily food intake is pretty bad, it’s amazing I only gained 20 lbs!

Typical day: Breakfast: coffee, donut/pastry, granola bar. Lunch/Dinner: pasta, chicken salad sandwich, burger, fries, chicken strips, take-out

Seriously. My diet is pretty bad. But food is so good!! headdesk

nutritionist 22 months ago

I’ve had this resource all along, and didn’t even think about it until the other day – a good friend of mine is a nutritionist. She sent me a few surveys to take and we’re meeting up this week or next to work on a plan that will help me lose weight, and have more energy. Hooray for having friends.

Day one 1 year ago

Age – 25
Height – 6’ 1”
Current weight – 215 lbs

Medically “healthy” range – 145-190 lbs
Goal – 185 lbs

The Challenge 1 year ago

My friend Mike and I challenged each other to lose 30 lbs by April 15th. That will give us a 2-lb per week average loss, which is nice and healthy.

So now it begins.
Current weight – 215 lbs.
Goal weight – 185 lbs.

I’ll try to update this every week. Here’s hoping!

Fatty! 2 years ago

I’m not sure how much I weigh right now, I’m hoping no more than 145-150, I fluxuate so much and I hate it, I don’t exercise really, but I don’t eat much either. I’m not going to eat dairy anymore, I’m vegitarian, and I’ve tried losing weight with diets, and with working out, I’d much rather quit eating all together… what’s a good substitute, my model friend Dani took these water pills, that make you pee a lot so she lost weight, where do I get those? Is there any other med I can take that will help me drop, I’m sick of this body, I’m so uncomfortable in it. I need to look good in a week, haha, it’ll never happen.

Lost around 13 pounds 2 years ago

I’ve been cutting out fatty foods and a lot of starches. Not eating cheese was a hard move to make, but it sure has paid of.

I’m 2 pounds from my previous goal I set for my wedding dress. My first fitting is on 14 Feb and after that I shouldn’t lose any more weight or my dress would have to be altered again. I have however moved my goalposts. Instead of another 2 pounds, I’m gonna try for another 6 to 8 pounds, which might be possible in the next 3.5 weeks if I work hard.

My tips (nothing new me thinks):
  • No coffee/tea – If I couldn’t resist I had coffee with low-fat milk and artificial sweetener. Coffee is bad for you in any case – makes your teeth yellow and caffeine doesn’t go well with my hyperactivity issues.
  • No cheese
  • Stick to wholewheat
  • ADD FRUIT!!!
  • Water – of course ;)

I hurt my back in December, so I hadn’t been exercising much. This will however be changing this week.
