I have started reading articles on wikipedia and I am having a great time gaining the knowledge. Even as I read I getting resolve questions I have had why people acted in certain way at a certain point of time in past.

Learning about our behaviors not just helps us understand ourselves better but also understand others in a better light. Probably this is the reason why I am so interested in psychology.

And yeah with this I am developing a much more stronger desire for doing my degree in psychology and not in my own industry, may be I will even see it as a career in future.

Child Psychology Degree?! 2 months ago

I’ve always loved kids and I want to get into a profession where I can understand them better and help them in difficult situations in life. The human mind is so complex, so mysterious, and I think the way kids think is the most unique one of them all. Questions like: “How do children maintain their innocence in a slowly becoming unmoralistic world?”, really intrigues me. Can’t wait to study it!

On some level I’ve been studying psychology for years, learning about my own issues and the ones that affect others…and mainly those around me. Other then reading my own books and exploring it on my own, I’m now in my second psychology class. =]

Was going to do this at College but chickened out of going-it-alone and joined to do Sociology class that a friend was doing instead.

Am fascinated to know what other people think; understanding that, I might be able to better interact with people, even if it’s a confidence that I understand people better.

Mission: buy/rent an A-Level psychology book (ideally ask my councellor if she believes just a book will help or if I need to take a class in it)

Last Year 15 months ago

I did an Itroduction to Psychology short course in Sept – Nov last year. The class was 2 hours on a Monday afternoon for 10 weeks and I had to take holiday from work to do it.

It was worth it though, I found it really interesting and it helped getting my brain back into learning gear. However I was disappointed with the people on the course as they were flakey and most dropped out by the end. I had hoped that meeting new friends would be part of the experience but never mind, maybe it will work out better when I get round to doing my Creative Writing course.

I’ve got enough of it under my belt now that I can call it done. There’s no going back at this point. LOL

Learning what makes people work is absolutely facinating. Do it!

That’s what college is for, I took up psychology class as a core class requirement.
