Flickr + Gallery + Shutterfly + Costco = happy site/happy user
I use three sites now and am finally happy with my online photo situation. 7 years ago
Gallery is a fabulous software. Quite easy to set-up, and has a very good set of tools that enables adminstrators to add photos and manage them and also open to customizations.
I recommend everyone who needs a picture gallery to use this tool. 7 years ago
i finally added the gallery to my site www.riteshdalal.com ..now only if i had the time to add all my pictures in there that would be perfect 7 years ago
i made my website but only the gallery code is not ready. i wrote it but i must re-test on web server. :( 8 years ago
The installer for it is much better than the one for the original Gallery. Folks with only limited web experience may be able to pull this one off. 8 years ago
Did this for my figure drawings – it was cool to get feedback, and adding a visual feature like this really adds interest to a personal site. 8 years ago
Added Gallery (http://sourceforge.net/projects/gallery) to my site; quick and painless (for me, anyway), and a neat thing. 8 years ago
I recently installed Coppermine Photo Gallery at my site and it works very well. I have also tweaked regular blog tools like Movable Type to make a gallery. It was fun to do. 8 years ago
the php gallery stuff. It was pretty easy to set up as I remember and it works really well! We have albums for each couple in our families! 8 years ago
There are a number of options.
Gallery (http://gallery.sf.net) is the default choice, written in PHP, with a web-based install script, it includes Shutterfly integration. Generally the install either goes without a hitch (50% of the time) or its a nightmare (50%). Not bad all things considered. (open source, PHP)
The Typepad galleries are nice, I like to tinker peronally, but that isn’t for everyone.
If you’re feeling a little more ambitious, I think Photostack is a simple attractive option. (also open source PHP) 8 years ago
I’d like to have the ability to print the images from shutterfly. I don’t know how to get this feature to work. 8 years ago
I’ve seen some cool stuff out there but I need someone to help me figure out how I get it to my ISP etc. Also, my blog is going to need to find a new home soon so maybe this will be the kick in the pants that I need to get it done. 8 years ago
