see a dentist

I havent been to the dentist since I turned 18 (no longer covered on my moms insurance). I could definitely afford to go but it just seems so inconvenient. I have so much other crap to pay for that I just cant justify spending money on going to the dentist right now. But I definitely want to go, and I know I need to go, I just cant yet.

I actually liked the dentist I used to go to get regular cleanings and I had to get a few cavatives filled in…my dentist thought it was hilarious (and a little annoying) because i would always fall asleep while he was trying to work in my mouth, lol.

I haven’t seen a dentist in about 17 years and know that I have at least one cavity now, so this is necessary, and it is another item I can check off my Cleansweep goal which I know is good for me.

I fully expect it to be a demeaning and expensive ordeal, and if it is anything like finding yourself a family GP, I don’t like my chances of finding someone I like on the first attempt.

But I’m going to start by finding us a local dentist.
I’m seriously not looking forward to this at all.

I’ve never seen a dentist before in my life i’ve never really had any problems with my teeth but yeah who knows what’s going on in there, i should really go see one if i ever find a job that has coverage because i’m too broke ass to afford to see one.

i booked in to see one in 2 wks… im scared!

saw one today after almost 2 years… yup, some cavities in the works. argh. i am really paranoid of dentists. i had a lot of dental work done when i was a teenager and my teeth suddenly all turned bad on me. so, i’ll have a cleaning later this week and then have the cavities taken care of after that.

I need a deep cleaning and I have corrosion.

Man do I stink! My teef hates me.

My husband scheduled an appt for me to see one this coming Weds. Boy do I need it!!

Had my 6 month check up, been having another tooth bothering me lately. Turns out I have an infection between the tooth root and my sinus cavity. Put me on Penicillin for the next 10 days and will have to see a specialitist to do the root canal due to the curving of it. Since my insurance is maxed out for now, will have to put it off until Jan. 07. Hope I can last that long.

Now I don’t. Good thing I went to see him!

I hate going to the dentist. It is truly a fear of mine since I was 7. I do not like it, but I need to go, I don’t want my teeth to fall out so I guess I need to just bite the bullet, set up an appointment and go.
