I’m giving this one up for now because I don’t see myself putting any effort toward this in the immediate future.
While I’m also not planning on living in a foreign country for the next decade, that goal does make me feel good when I read it. It makes me feel warm, fuzzy, tingly. Becoming a magazine editor does not.
However I do cotton to the idea of editing romance novels. Now THAT iS a rather fantastic goal that does make me feel good. I’m going to add this to my 43 things, which is down to 24 Things.

After careful consideration, I think I’m going to pass on this. The timing is not right because I have a major development project going on. The opportunity sounds like something I’d love to do. I just can’t give it my full attention. So, I’m thinking the responsible response would be to decline. Ah well.

I guess I should say that I’m entertaining an offer to be a managing editor for a magazine. The opportunity was presented to see if there was any interest. I have so much going on that I really need to consider whether this is really where I want to focus my time and efforts.
I’m thrilled to have such an opportunity to consider. I plan to meet with the publisher this week to further discuss the details.

All my life my mom has told me that what ever I want to do just go at it with all your heart, and thats what im doing. All my life I have wanted to be in the fashion industry and have my own high fashion magazine. I have good grades and im a hard worker with every aspect of my life. Please just give me a chance and I will make the best of it!
