finish my research paper

just added in a couple paragraphs after obtaining some additional data to prove my point. Hopeful this paper will cause quite a stir once it’s finally done.

11/13-I have a week to write a research paper on the Microbiology of Cavities. I’ve got an outline put together, but once I start looking up information, I get lost in the big blue void we call the internet.

Edit 11/15- Five more days left to write this paper. I’ve got a thesis and two paragraphs down. Four more pages and a bibliography left to do.

Edit 11/19-I’ve written out the research paper, yay!! Now all I need to do is polish it up, and write out my bibliography. Then I will be finished!!!

I was so excited I forgot to check it off the list.

I have finally gotten all the data that I need, so now writing the paper is all up to me. I have a huge incentive to get it done ASAP since the only way I will be eligible for a promotion at my internship is if I finish the paper and get the degree. But dang, the summer is nice in Seattle, so there are numerous distractions.

I finished! I went down to the school around oneish after finishing my lunch and I wrote the 5 pg research paper in 3 hours and then have enjoyed the evening! Its amazing how sometimes procrastination brings out your best work!

So I have a paper due yep you guessed it… today. I havent even started except I have my topic and looked in this one book to see if the topic was covered… it is. Sooooo the goal is to head down to the school today and work on in until it is finished. Its 4-5 pgs long and its already 11pm here. Time to shower and get out of the house so I can focus! I’ll post again when I finish. but… as a side note I have found that I do some of my best work at the last minute… lets see if that happens here? dun dun dunnnnn

EEEH!! With a full teaching load, research grants, family…its hard to get that first publication together. Unlike some I have difficulty shutting people out to get it done. I hope the work is acceptable. It will be a major accomplishment for me.

Yeah. I haven’t written out the works cited page yet, but I finished the paper, and I’m proud of myself. Hopefully it made sense and I don’t end up seeming like an idiot to the prof. – I kinda mixed a bit of structural linguistics into a paper about Ireland… but uh… whatever.

Time to celebrate (a.k.a. grocery shopping).

The paper is for a pass/fail course that I’m not even technically enrolled in this semester, and I opted for a “creative project” (c’mon… art student…) along with the paper, so it only has to be about 4 pages. Yet somehow I still end up busting my ass for this thing, and I’m at 4 pages already – not even halfway through my arc for the paper. My goal is to finish the brunt of the writing tonight, so I can do final nitpicking tomorrow and email it to the professor – providing he asks for it. I really can’t wait to cross this one off the list.

Who knew that research paper could ever end? It did. It was not my best work but there were very rigid and uninspiring guidelines. Sigh, it is off of my back.
