To me this involves doing more for other people, giving more compliments, being more supportive – just finding ways to show them that I care for and value them.
How I did it: I've been doing this my entire life. I feel as if it is ingrained enough inside of my core being that I do not have to have it on my list of 43 things anymore. I showed my love in the past 25 years by:
-Sending my best friend fresh baked chocolate cookies and a starbucks giftcard when she was in the midst of studying for her law school finals in December
-Writing my significant other a love poem and sharing it that very day.
-Finding the time to spend the holidays with my family
-Kissing my parents and telling them every time I see them that I love them
-Coaching, motivating and helping a group of runners to run the San Antonio marathon back in Nov 2008
-Sending random, loving texts of thanks to my friends and family
-Sending thank you notes
-Daily telling people how much they mean to me
-Congratulating others on their accomplishments
-Verbally recognizing folks I know who do amazing things every day for me and for others.
-Giving random hugs
-Kissing people more
-Calling people back (still working on that one)
-Planning parties for those I care about most.
-Going out on special happy hours and dates
Lessons & tips: Try do tell someone you love them once per day. It will spread. Do something with love in your heart and people can feel it. They feel a positive energy coming from you and they smile every time they see you. Love is everywhere keep it flowing.

I’ll have to keep on trying on this one. Today I got really angry and worked up over an incident. I guess “show my love more” doesn’t mean never get angry or “show my love always.” Tomorrow morning when I’m not angry anymore I should be ready to “show my love more,” again.
