    Going through the NM process is not for those afflicted with attention deficit disorder, it can take 2 years or more… for some it can take less, it all depends on your AM, what criteria you need to complete and how quickly you do it.

    Its worth doing, but you can also become a Debian Maintainer much easier, which will allow you to get packages in Debian.
