In an attempt to improve my teaching practice I agreed to take on an visiting artist in the classroom project.
Unfortunately she’s VERY frustrating, disorganized, and inappropriate.
In the end it’s giving me 10 times more work than I’m accustomed to when it’s supposed to ease the weight a bit and provide the students with some new and exciting opportunities. It’s mostly just become frustrating for them to adapt to her inconsistent instructional practices.
I’m glad there’s only six days left.

One of my high school kids just wandered down from the music room to serenade me with his guitar. Very cute. That Johnny Cash might pull me through the rest of the day!
