I’ve been training 2x a week for the past 8 weeks and though my weight hasn’t moved much, I am SO much stronger and clothes are starting to fit better! Kickboxing (and the conditioning exercises that I do as well) is definitely helping me to reshape my body, not to mention get in my cardio without feeling as bored as I do while running. I’m definitely addicted…am thinking about upping my sessions to 3x a week!

So… I tried taekwondo…. which was pretty near.

well i am kind of going through this phase where im really for God knows what reason emo + depressed + lonely + suicidal maniac . I mean im like this walking , talking contradiction of what i usually am. small things trigger the chemical imbalance in my head and im all ready to start the waterworks. being a piscean does’nt help either.so i am sitting there in my car with me mum in the driving seat and noones talking as usual. and suddenly i have this image in my head of just causing this immense destruction and just beating the shit out of someone . no im not hazardous just self destructive. and then voila i understand how i can get rid of this pms/ depressed phase. KICKBOXING.
Tonester690 no longer being sick.
I used to do Tae Kwan Do as a kid (14-16) i thoroughly enjoyed it, stopped doing for reasons of the unknown lol.
I really wouldn’t mind doing something like kickboxing as its defo more active, and the principals are the same as in Tae Kwan Do.
I will make it my aim, to go down to our local sports place and find out about times and dates.
I’ve been learning taekwondo for a year now… apparently the sparring is about the same as you would do in kickboxing…
aidanrogers is thinking ahead.

I could by no means claim to be competent in this discipline but the handful of classes that I took last winter were so invigorating, I would love to give it another shot. I’ve been keeping my fitness level up fairly well since, so it shouldn’t be too difficult to return to training once the opportunity arises again…
So, in conclusion, I have started on this goal but am taking a lengthy break ;)
