It was wierd to shower in the sunshine and wind but I really liked it and look forward to doing it again when it warms up.
How I did it: I waited until there was a big thunderstorm, put on a bathing suit, grabbed my travel shampoo and soap and lathered up on my front lawn! It was really cold, and I wasn't able to wash off all the soap, but it was still fun.
Lessons & tips: Make sure it's a little warmer before you do this :)
Find a backup source of water, because the rain will not be powerful enough to wash off all the shampoo from your hair.
Be safe if you are showering in thunder storms!

I’ve actually done this in two senses. A few times on vacation in Martha’s Vineyard, my mom wouldn’t let us in the rented house until we got all the sand from the beach off us first. So we had to shower in this wooden stall in the backyard. Not too fun, as the water was never better than chilly.
The other time was more official. My best friend and I put on bathing suits and headed for her driveway with the hose. We didn’t skimp, either. We both used shampoo, conditioner, and soap- while people driving by stared at us. It was a hot summer day, though, so we didn’t care one bit. :)
