I have always had difficulty with when and how to use the comma, and other forms of punctuation properly. I think this is a valid skill so I have began reading all the books I can get my hands on, memorizing rules…just getting the feel for the comma. The dash is coming to me, it really is great. I think the comma will be my nemesis to conquer. It is such a subjective mark, with no strict rules. I have started volunteering as a copy editor as well for the school newspaper to gain more experience. This may be a lifelong endeavour but i’m up for it! 7 years ago
