produce children's classics audio books

since I am not making any extra money in my “real job” it may be fun to see where my dreams lead.

Can’t be too much more broke than I already am working for others. Besides I have been financially challenged for a long time.

It’s time to act outside of the box.

I am compiling classic stories for children to teach them the value of diversity and getting to know others who are different from themselves.

These will be recorded on CD’s and packaged with a copy of the book.

If any parents or grandparents want to make a special gift like this for a child in their life I would be happy to help them.

are going to be tricky. Although I may be able to weave words into colorful tapestries I cannot draw a straight line.

So a partner in this project would be ideal.

Just think how delighted the children in your life would be to get a new story book with a CD of you reading to them?

This is especially nice for nieces,nephews and grandchildren that live far away from you.

Thinking through this goal I realized there are wonderful stories already written that our children have not heard. There are new stories being written as I write this entry that need a voice.

I’ll read some Kipling for inspiration. I am so excited about making audio CD’s for the children in my family. It will be excellent practice for my voice work.

I’ll start with the Just So stories that Rudyard Kipling wrote for his children years ago.

While I am continuing to write my stories I have come up with another project.

I’m going to record favorite stories on CD as read alongs for my grandchildren. That way they will hear the stories in my voice on their CD players or ipods long after I am gone.

I have decided to write books for little ones. Maybe even add puppets and pop-ups for their delight.
