I keep getting new books…. lol
How I did it: I didn't. I have a huge library of thousands of books and I buy more and more. Reading all of them, or at least, setting a deadline to do so is counter-productive and takes all the fun away from something as pleasurable as reading.
Lessons & tips: Just savor your time with your books. Being around them, browsing through them, reading them here and there, eventually reading all of them and still getting more.

I’m amazed I’ve actually started to read this again. Even though I’m Scottish, it’s really hard going. Damn you Irvine Welsh!
Wish me luck with finishing it :P
And it was Three Men in a Boat :P Think I’ve actually been reading it for about a year. Not stopped cause it’s bad or too big, just cause everything else gets in the way. Still got…

I am NOT kidding! That’s how pathetic it is. I haven’t had a moment because of work load. But then again, even my book is work. Oh well… It’s a book.

I just finished Kavalier & Clay this morning. It’s an amazing book, I’m glad I forced myself to keep focused and get it finished.

Kavalier & Clay is proving difficult! It’s great when I actually force myself to sit down and tackle a good handful of chapters, but as far as light reading goes, I’m not handling it very well! I ended up reading two other books on the weekend because they were shorter and less daunting. Soon, Kavalier & Clay. Soon…

On Monday night, I finished reading Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell! It’s such a huge book, and some parts of it are very tedious to get through (though I think you find this with a majority of books), however the exciting bits well and truly made up for the hard slog. The ending was melancholy and beautiful and I really enjoyed it. If you’re an avid reader, sink your teeth into it because you shouldn’t be disappointed.
