"Since this is my first car, it was very stressing to bear financial responsibility for such a hefty but necessary fix. Le sigh. "

How I did it: It started with an oil change to which I learned that the oil leaks like a siv...but I went in to get my break pads replaced and then it turned out that i need rotors because they were rusted out. The front tires were worn out- I originally planned on replacing those closer to winter but since the tread was so worn that there were cracks in the rubber, I knew it was becoming unsafe to be in.

so...

break pads + front tires + rotors + allignment (and tightened up steering) = $527

which sucks on a  minimal income as a college student but i feel much better driving and having passengers in the car.

    Our transmission needs fixing, it’s needed fixing for some time now. When we got the estimate on repairs it was up to $2000-2200CDN. We’ve been saving up money to get it fixed… but nowhere near enough yet. $500. If only other important things would stop getting in the way, we’d just be that much closer.

    With social phobia, some days the car is the only option. So getting it fixed is a must. I need a money tree. boo.
