SPRING BREAK!!! Before I start my journey up the mountain, I’m going to hold a panda. :) Yay! I’ll post a picture.
How to hold a panda
How I did it: I went to Chengdu in Sichuan Province, China, and went to the Chengdu Panda Research Center. (Cab 40 kuai) When I got there I looked around at the exhibits and when I found the place to hold the panda, I went in! (It's right behind the panda exhibit, behind closed gates with a ticket window-like place inside on the right and lockers against the wall on the right.) I paid 1000 kuai (Ok, keep in mind I've been wanting to do this for about 3 years and that it was totally worth it.) and they brought out this sweet little baby boy panda named Da Mao Mao (big hair) and I held him! He was so precious and so fuzzy! Their hair is coarse, but it is soft as wel.. difficult to explain. Do it. :)
Lessons & tips: Go during feeding time (or earlier) around 9 ish AM. The center opens at 7:30 AM. You can also hold a red panda for 25-30 kuai I believe. The money all goes to a very good cause.
Resources: Google-my God. Very helpful and friendly Chinese people.

Someday, maybe… hopefully…
But for now, I’ll settle for hugging my stuffed panda each night as I fall asleep. It’s got sentimental meaning. That’s pretty damn awesome.
