How I did it: I got my workteam as far as going to a themepark for our anual outing. After telling I never rode a rollercoaster, they all supported me. I did two rollercoasters, a normal one, with loopings and stuff, and one in the dark, with lasers! Read how I did it…
How I did it: I always told myself I'd never get on a roller coaster and then I went to a theme park in Chicago and I went on 3 of them! What made it even more scary was having to wait in queue knowing what was coming up, all in all I'm glad i did it but I'm not sure if I'd be able to do it again :) Read how I did it…

How I did it: I brought along a very supportive friend who was just as scared as I was. It was a twisty, turning looping scream machine where your feet dangle. I screamed from beginning to end! When I got off, my father was waiting at the end and said "Did you hear that woman who screamed through the whole ride? My goodness!!" LOL! I didn't tell him it was me. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Well, my dad kinda tricked me into it when I was 8. It was Space Mountain at Disney World (yeah I know that's pretty much a kid's ride for you roller-coaster veterans, but hey). I was all for it, though allbeit a bit nervous. I was fine until we got up over the top of the first hill, and away we went! I was screaming (for my life, mind you, NOT because it was fun haha) the whole time. I was white as a ghost afterward, and I didn't g… Read how I did it…

How I did it: The first time I sat in line and was so scared, I became teary-eyed during the 2 hour wait. And then went on again... and again... because I had so much fun. Since then, I have built up and gone on bigger rollercoasters, but not the biggest one at Cedar Point yet. I'm still working up the courage for that one. Read how I did it…

Also a thing I want to do for a long time. I really want to ride an old timber one, but we don’t have them here, so I take what is there I guess.
it sounds quite simple, just go to one and ride. But I do hate noise and crowds and especially amusement parks. I’ve only been to one my entire live and that was when I was five. Way to young to ride a roller coaster offcourse, so instead I rode a donkey.
I rode a rollercoaster once, when I was about 8 years old, and I’ve never been able to since. I want to again. I’m such a wuss as I get older!
I have a terrible fear of heights. But I’m addicted to adrenaline rushes. And it looks like fun. I want to finally say, “Yeah. Rollercoaster. Done it. whoohoo!”

I’ve always been really keen to get on a rollercoaster but the only times I’ve had the chance to I’ve been a little too young for my parents to agree to it. Now I’m the only person stopping me from doing it so why not get out there and get it done.
sicklittlemonky is 36.
As a kid they made me ill just thinking about them. I’d like to give it a go now.
It wasn’t my first time riding a roller coaster ..but it sure felt like it. I think my first experience on a roller coaster was 4 years or so ago at Silver Doller City. My dad and niece (who was probably like freaking 10 at the time) conned me into doing it. “It’ll be fun” they said. Well, they lied. So, it doesn’t even matter anymore that it was a small roller coaster and that I was probably holding on for dear life. ..It scared me. I decided from that moment on, I hated them and was never getting on one again.
Except ..I changed my mind.
This summer I went to Worlds of Fun along with some of my family and my boyfriend. I was determined to ride at least one coaster. My niece, who’s 5 years younger than I am, loves them. Her favorite one at this specific amusement park just so happens to be The Mamba; one of the tallest, longest and fastest roller coasters in the world. The very first ride we ended up going on was a coaster called The Timber Wolf. Seriously, I think I about wet my pants just standing in line for that one. After it was over though, I felt amazing. My boyfriend, who’s afraid of heights, rode The Timber Wolf too. I thought he’d be freaking out the whole time but actually, he was laughing. (Yes, you heard me right. Not screaming, laughing!) Eventually, I did ride The Mamba. It was so thrilling. I even did the little thing were I threw my hands in the air. As cheesy as it was, I was extremely proud of myself. I’d overcame (and enjoyed) one of my fears. :]
I know, I know. I should have already at my age. But I haven’t, hence being on my list.
SlipKnoTMaggoT is so happy!
