I hope I can go to see Paris as soon as I get a real job in the real world and start saving up for it…

I want to move to France. I am applying for a job right now that has a connection to a French university. Cross all fingers and toes for me.

I have been in love with all things French since I saw a painting of the Eifel Tower in a museum at age 12. Now I am 33 and want to visit the city of light but I desparately want to live in the South of France, perhaps a small cottage on the outskirts of Nice.

my friend is in Nice right now celebrating her 40th birthday (a gift from her boyfriend) and I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO envious!!!!
If you ever thought Paris would be amazing…it’s about 100 times more amazing than you think. The food is incredible, the city is gorgeous, the people were lovely and the art is to die for.
I went for my 40th and plan to go back every year.

It’s incredible! I’ve been twice, but don’t think even 10 times would be enough. There’s so much to see and do and experience and EAT and soak up. A friend gave me great advice once when I was broke and dying to travel. She said if you make it a priority you will get there—start planning and save towards it every month just like it’s a bill. It must work because that was 1.5 years ago and this summer I went to England and France. Keep working towards it and you’ll get there.
