Because if I look this good in baby blue I should share it with the wider world…
How I did it: Right outside of Blackcomb lift, in the lodge, paid
$ 150.00 for group lessons.
There was one other person in my class.
I fell off of the lift, backwards, in a way that my instructor has never seen before. lol
I am so damn talented.
Lessons & tips: Get in shape before you go up there. My butt and legs were burning, (nice, but not sore) my arms were very sore still on day three...from holding onto my instructor for dear life!
Need about 40 more hours of this to get any good.
Resources: Use wrist guards and a HELMET for sure. Lessons come with a voucher for these things.
Rented a board near the lodge.

Whistler is gorgeous! If you wver get the opportunity to snowboard out there, do it! It is amazing and beautiful!
Best sport ever! The first times i did it, i constantly caught my toe & heel-edge and banged the back of my head on hte packed snow – but what the heck! I didn’t mind hte headaches. My fav sport ever. One day i AM going to live near the mountains so i can go boarding ever weekend in winter!!! =) lol (and that’s another goal!)
I’ve got a flight and hotel booked for the week between Christmas and New Years. I guess the two unknowns are making sure my mom will be okay if I’m gone and figuring out if I will have a travel companion or not….
I’ve been to Whistler twice? three times? I forget. But I love it! :)
