hunnypieDone enough to mark as "Done":

I filed my federal via TurboTax a few weeks ago, mailed out my Ohio state return this morning, and will be mailing my South Carolina state return the next time i feel like braving the snow to go to the corner mailbox. 4 years ago

Flirt is back in the 21st century - computer wise!!!DONE!!!

Flirt is back in the 21st century - computer wise!!!I just did my federal

and plan on doing my state return tonight. 4 years ago

wahigLa la la la la!

Used Turbotax online and got it DONE! I am happy to report that I do have a nice refund. I felt a little nervous about the way they interpreted my 401K withdrawal so I coughed up the money for the audit insurance. Worth the peace of mind in my opinion.

La la la la DONE!

Still gotta do State but that will be a separate goal. 4 years ago

wahigProgress is Being Made

I guess I am about halfway through filing with TurboTax. Stopped to work on my other goal of organizing receipts with a view to finding medical deductions.

But proud of myself for starting! 4 years ago

christimarieAh..

There’s nothing I like better than getting money from the government…So glad we got this done today, as we are getting a huge refund this year. That is, of course, because I didn’t work at all this year thanks to the wild roller coaster ride courtesy of multiple military deployments. This made us quite poor in Uncle Sam’s eyes, so yeah for us! We finally get a good tax return. 4 years ago

hunnypieMy federal is done;

now i just have to finish with my two state tax forms. SC is pretty easy: i think i’ve gotten spoiled over the past few years, because i’m finding Ohio’s tax regulations a real bear.

Started out using one of the online programs for my federal, but i would’ve had to have paid extra per state to file my state stuff through them. Plus, they came up with me owing money to one of the states, & i just can’t have that! ;) 4 years ago

smoliver138Done with a refund!

okay did this today and getting a pretty nice refund. Dont have any plans for which i suppose is a good thing. Well except to pay off school so i can go back this year. My accountant told me however that next year because of how much i’ll be making now with my new job that i will not qualify for the earned income credit and that his fee will be higher since i will be making so much more. bummer. he said i need to keep close track of my daycare expenses, school expense and that other crap because i’ll probably owe instead of getting a refund. bummer bummer. more money more problems i guess but i definitely would rather make more than get a big fat refund. this one is done! 5 years ago

catspajamasIt's over!

At least for one more year. I used turbo tax, once again. The hardest part is calculating the medical expenses, mortgage expenses, education expenses….I am getting a nice return from the feds, and a state return, as well. 5 years ago

deepblueseaFinished

Started yesterday and got everything wrapped up today. It was a pain but worth it since I’m getting money back :-) 5 years ago

deepblueseaNow I can start

I lost one of my 1099 forms to I had to call and get another copy sent to me. It arrived today and my last W-2 arrived earlier in the week so I get get this done soon. Hopefully this weekend…I should have time. I just need to sit down and do it. Yuck. 5 years ago

catspajamasW-2

came in the mail today. Now to get to work. 5 years ago

purplefibermomlittle by little

I picked up turbo tax and started entering. Still waiting on a few forms to come – but at least I know I don’t owe. I was concerned as last year was the first full year back to work… 5 years ago

mforbes321This is supreme growth

You probably don’t know this about me but over the last 5 or so years taxes have been a thorn in my side.

It’s January 24th and I got my W-2 less than four hours ago and my taxes are complete and in the mail already.

WOOOOHOOOOOO! 5 years ago

purplefibermomforms are arriving daily

and going straight to the 2006 folder. Next week I’ll pick up Turbo Tax. Sadly, certain forms never arrive until the first week of Feb. I’m hoping for a refund, but we may have underpaid this year due to this being the first full year I was working again. 5 years ago

purplefibermomThanks to my great paper organization of 2006

It will be really easy to find everything I need. I collected tax related items all year in my Income Tax 2006 file.

Now I just have to wait for our W-2’s, 1090’s, and other assorted forms to show up. 5 years ago
