Im dying to learn crochet. Its just so hard learning out of a book, and no one around here seems to know how to do it.
Maybe youtube?

The materials for this were under 20 bucks too!!! (and from a drugstore, shocker I know!- don’t tell Martha Stewart….)
I’ve always wanted to have multiple Christmas trees but we live in a small apartment, so I did this small tree that sat on top of the dining room table. I also love theme trees, and I think this all white/silver look turned out really nice!

Candles centerpiece!!!
Found something like this in Better Homes and Gardens and decided to give it a try. I guess it’s more of a winter craft rather than Christmas specifically (and it’s still on the coffee table even though I packed away all the Christmas stuff).
I think it turned out great and I got everything to make it for under 20 bucks!
I’ve started painting with acrylics at home and I really love it. My family noticed my interest and this year for Christmas I got a beautiful wooden easel and a palette that keeps your paints from drying out. I am totally set up now…I think they were amused to find out that I had been painting on the floor on top of garbage bags until now!
I have officially launched TwIsTeD on Etsy! TwIsTeD: 100% recycled telephone wire bracelets. Think GREEN – buy recycled!

I’ve been wanting to get into some crafty things for a long time now and I’m finally getting started. I just started oil painting today, and I bought some basic knitting supplies. Fingers crossed, maybe my relatives will have knitted scarves by this Christmas :)
I’m nearly done with my lightweight summer quilt. It looks great! I bought the material ages ago, but never got around to cutting and sewing.
Even though I’m sad that my sister moved out, it’s nice having my craft room back. I think I’ll sew a quilt for Amanda too. I’ve been promising her one for awhile. It’ll make a nice wedding gift with personality. Don’t worry, I’ll get the plate set too!
