frenzied is new to this site. Please, be gentle :)
This is a goal I’ve had for many a while, but not yet come to fruition. I love wine, especially good wine, of which we are fortunate to get plenty in Australia. I would love to learn a lot more about it. The process in which it’s made, the aging process, and perhaps even in my appreciation of it. I don’t know if it’s just a pipe dream, but it would be great to hone my palate, and know what grape variety it was, what region it came from, and describe some of the taste notes.
Perhaps one day it may lead to a professional career, or maybe it will just mean I will appreciate the wine a little more on my frequent ‘winery crawls’, but either way, it’s something i’d like to explore.

crystalz is trying to be patient for whatever is next.
It was so wonderful! My boyfriend signed us up for a Cakebread tasting class which was awesome. My favorite though was Cuvaison by far it was beautiful there and the wine was great.

It was awesome! I enjoyed the taste, it was mild and didn’t burn. The only other wine that I used to like was Riesling.

herenion apathetic, lazy and unsure in life
I’m getting there, have forsed myself to drink Savingion Blonc enough that its now my fave drink, and can tell the difference between chardonnay and sav blonc. Tried a bottle of shiraz and found it interesting that even though i didn’t particully like the taste, it left me wanting more. I could taste the different flavours and had a real warming sensation.
MISSION OF THE MOMENT: Make myself enjoy a glass of red, and find out the difference between Merlot and Shiraz. After I have finished this I will try and teach myself about different kinds of wine, what they go with and the different brands/areas that wine is made.

With all the time and energy it take to make, I should learn to appreciate it.

When I grow up, I’m going to have a glass of wine every night with dinner, and since I’m on the fast track to marry Mr. Sanderson LoatheMeMuch, I can stare at him and make him feel self-conscious over the rim of my wineglass.
It’ll be fun. Trust me.

visit napa...

My husband and I went to Napa this summer and did several barrel tastings and winery tours - learned about the process of making wine, the different kinds of grapes, etc - and let me tell you: it’s really made all the difference in the world. I used to hate red wine, and now I like it more than white! We’ve since tried tons of different wines and each bottle is a new adventure! happy drinking…
