learn to horseback ride

I’m sure it is fun, but a lot of work, and pain in the butt. I just have a feeling this is something you can’t just learn in a couple of weeks.

I need more time and money for this one, not to mention a couple of friends who will join me.

I’ve been horseback riding since I was 9, and and STILL learning so many things. Once I began, horses became my lifelong teachers. They were a miracle when I needed them most, going through a tough time.

Basically, at age 9 I went to my local equestrian center that I had heard the best praise about and enrolled in lessons. My trainer and I became great friends, and I came to love horses and value them more than anything.

I’ve gone horseback riding while on vacation where the horses just know where to go and follow the leaders. Recently I had the chance to attempt to ride a friend’s horse. I was surprised that it was so hard to get the horse to do what I wanted. My ultimate goal is to be able to go on horseback riding vacations. So I need to be able to master the basics
