I`ve had a rather bad case of Athlete`s foot for a while now…it gets worse in summer and ease off a little in winter but it`s still there. I`m so busy with my job and kids that I`ve not really done anything productive to sort it out…SO now is time to start my plan of action..
First I got hubby to bring me home some treatment from the chemists and am now carefully washing my feet with soap twice a day and using the ointment…hope I will be able to get my feet looking respectable by this summer`s sandal-wearing season!!! 2 years ago

but the earliest appointment they’ve got is middle of September. I’ve either need to wait or look a further away from home. 7 years ago

which is good news. However the doctor said that I’m likely to suffer a lot later in life from bunions and ingrowing toe nails so thats not so good.
I’m hoping to book an appointment with an expert and see if there is any prevention I can do. 8 years ago

I am going to the doctor’s tomorrow to discuss my feet. Hopefully they will be able to tell me what’s wrong with them and suggest some things I can do or alternative treatment. 8 years ago

however I’ve been getting rubbing around my bigs toes recently. When I actually looked at them I realised they are looking a little bit odd. I’ve done some research and it appears I’ve either got or I am getting bunions; the only way to correct them is surgery!
I did to make an appointment with a specialist to find out how bad they are and what needs to be done. However I’m dreadful at making appointment so in the mean time I’ve started a corrective program of my own. I’ve got spacers for between my big toes and I’m doing exercises to try and encourage my big toes back where they should be.
Hopefully this can be solved without surgery. 8 years ago
