Well – not doing too good, but it’s 12:45 now and I’m going to bed :)

So, this is definitely one of my weak points, because I work from home with only general day/week deadlines, so oftentimes I stay up until 2/3am, and then sleep in until noon! And then, since I’ve slept in late, I’m not ready to go to sleep until late, and the vicious cycle continues. I think I’ll be trying to back up each time (go to sleep and get up) by about half an hour each day until I reach where I want to be. I am a night owl, so the times will still be later than is typical, but better than I previously cited.
Ulimate goal (for the summer): 0800, 2300
Current goal: sleep: 0100, get up: 1000
Admit it for the most part you have more options of meaningful things to do in the morning than you do late at night.
I’m gradually shifting to an earlier and more normal schedule but its still a bit later than where I want to be to mark this off as done.
Went well today, getting up a little after 8:00 when my first class of the day is at 1 in the afternoon. Hopefully getting up earlier will make me want to get to bed earlier tonight so tomorrow in turn is easier.
At the moment my local time is 3:06 AM and I’m still not in bed yet. I just need to shut down my computer and climb into bed. Even though today is my first day of classes for the semester I know that I can get away with it because my first class is at 1:30 which means that I can easily sleep till 11:30 and be fine. Still I think its time for my schedule to shift to more normal sleeping hours once again.

my number one goal, so I think this might be the only way to get this done. Doesn’t help that I am also going to try to give up coffee this month, but maybe that will help with the first part of this goal.
