Wear sandals in the snow

yep, did it.
It was liberating.

But, I’m back to vans. rather, I wear vans now.

Because… I went crazy and forgot to wear shoes in the snow and the counselor didn’t like taht.

I used to only wear birkenstocks.. year round.. in Nebraska. I actually wore Birks for several years as my only pair of shoes, so I got lots of snow on my feet. Cold, wet feet leave you with a chill for the entire day, even after they have dried.

I didn’t mind then, when I was under 18, but I’m getting too old for that discomfort.

I do this. I live in Nebraska and people think I am a psycho..but I dont care. I like the cold and like the snow. Go for it.
