bowling for the cure was awesome. so many people showed up, and we appreciate park tavern’s generosity in organizing this event.

park tavern is giving us their space on 8/13 for another fundraiser. it’s the weekend before the 3day, so it’s perfect for a last-minute push to the $30k mark.

we have about $7k more to go, but people still have plenty of individual fundraising to do as well. 5 years ago

we raised $1,500 in one night at our bowling fundraiser. it was well-organized and went off without a hitch. it felt so great to see that many people all there to support the cause. 5 years ago

we have $700 in raffle prizes! less than a month to go til the event. everything’s in order. 5 years ago

we had this fundraiser yesterday. jane and i were there from 11-2. we raised $374… sold maybe 70 wristbands, and a ton of cookies. talked to SO many people about the 3day. i’m hoping we get new team members as well. 5 years ago

i got the private bowling alley donated on 4/22. we’ll have food and drinks, a raffle, and various other events. this one’s going to be BIG.

i sent out 60 letters to businesses asking for raffle prizes. jane and wendy are sending them, too. we already have two raffle donations! 5 years ago

i requested fundraising tables at the IDS center and at Block E. we’ll be at the IDS over lunch on 3/13, selling pink wristbands and ribbon-shaped cookies. that’s probably the busiest place in the skyway over lunch.

we’ll be at block e from 5-8 on 4/7. it’ll be REALLY busy after work. we’re selling wristbands and truffles.

we made $1300 baking and selling xmas cookies, and over $2000 making chocolate truffles for valentine’s day.

it’s hard work making all that food, but i love the interacting-with-people part of it. it’s all about spreading the word. 5 years ago
