Read more to the kids, do more fun projects and take more field trips

I created a “secret club” for the kids and myself, and we had our first meeting tonight. The girls loved it, we dressed up, picked special names, then we worked on the beginning of a scrapbook we’re creating for the club, and listened to stories on tape. We have a secret password and a song. I’ve decided to have these meetings on Mondays and Thursdays no matter how busy I am, and that way I’m sure to get some quality time in with my kids where we spend time doing something constructive. They are really into it, and we’re all looking forward to the next one.
