beat the hard level of spider solitaire

This was a popular quote I would say to myself while playing this game. I kept thinking I could win in one more try. I tried and tried and tried. My girlfriend actually got me hooked on this game, and I thought for sure I’d complete the difficult level before she would. One night she woke me up in the middle of the night, and showed me her finished game of the difficult level. Doh! I was shocked at first, it seemed so surreal. I was really beginning to believe that it was impossible, but sure enough, she did it. A couple of days later I finished as well, and haven’t played since. Now I’m hooked on her mobile phone game Capsule SE, which she also dominates me on.

I finally beat Spider solitaire on the hard level in February, then my computer promptly (within about a week or so) had to be reformatted, thus no record of my win exists!

You know how sometimes the computer gives you a game which you think is just UNWINNABLE? Well, sometimes you get lucky too and the cards are in your favor (if you know what to do with them?).

It felt good to finally do, and released me from the Spider Solitaire habit!
