want to do this again. Hard to believe that vacation was only 7 months ago.
I have a weekend planned for myself, at the end of March. Back in September I made the reservations—going to spend a weekend in the desert, seeing it bloom, stargazing, doing a lot of nothing.
Can’t wait.

sld1 Resting...at last.
Always worthwhile. I come back looser, less cranky & more fun to be around!

but rather strange. And I confess I kept a little notebook for “ideas” that came up.
I feel refreshed and ready to get at things again. Still on the road, will be for a while.

I’m going to be off 43Things for a while; I hope, when I return, to mark a number of things “done.”
See y’all later.

for the week OFF is proceeding nicely… I’m getting excited at the prospect. The crazy thing is I don’t think I’ve ever really done this before.

I have Passover “off” from school - but when I go back, I’m walking into papers due and finals. I have to keep reminding myself that these two weeks are not “off” - they are just different.
OFF will come in June. I can hardly wait.

This past weekend my sweetie pointed out to me that I seldom take time truly OFF. I have my regular work’n’study life, and then I have other little projects for “vacation” time. I rarely have time off with no project in hand, no plan for something I need to do or finish or accomplish.
Soooo…. right now I am in the midst of a bear of a term. It will be finished in mid-May. I already have a raft of projects stacked up (like planes over LAX) but I think that if I have any sense at all, I’ll take the advice of my loved one and take one week completely off.
